# What You'll Need:

→ Slider Assembly

01 - 8 mini slider buns
02 - 8 small breakfast sausage patties (about 1.4 oz each)
03 - 4 large eggs
04 - 4 slices cheddar cheese, halved
05 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
06 - 2 tbsp maple syrup
07 - 1 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)

→ Seasonings

08 - 1/4 tsp salt
09 - 1/8 tsp black pepper

→ Garnish (optional)

10 - Fresh chives, finely chopped

# How To Make It:

01 - Set the oven to 350°F (180°C).
02 - In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, brown sausage patties 3-4 minutes per side until fully cooked. Keep warm.
03 - Discard excess fat from skillet. Whisk eggs with salt and pepper. Melt 1 tablespoon butter over medium-low heat, add eggs, and gently scramble until just set. Remove from heat.
04 - Slice slider buns horizontally. Spread mayonnaise on bottom halves if using. Layer with scrambled eggs, a sausage patty, half a slice of cheddar cheese, then drizzle with maple syrup.
05 - Place top halves onto each slider and arrange on a baking tray.
06 - Brush bun tops with remaining butter. Bake for 5-7 minutes until cheese melts and buns are lightly toasted.
07 - Sprinkle fresh chives over sliders if desired. Serve warm.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • They come together in 35 minutes, which means you can still be in your pajamas when people show up.
  • Everyone gets their own personal sandwich-sized moment instead of passing plates around, and somehow that makes it feel special.
  • The maple syrup drizzle is the unexpected detail that makes people pause mid-bite and ask what you did differently.
02 -
  • Don't skip the oven step—those final few minutes of gentle heat are what melts the cheese and toasts the buns without drying them out.
  • If you're making these ahead, assemble them completely, cover loosely with foil, and reheat in a 160°C oven for about 10 minutes instead of baking them fresh.
03 -
  • Cook your sausage patties ahead and reheat them gently—this eliminates last-minute stress when you're assembling eight sliders at once.
  • Keep a small spoon handy for the maple syrup because pouring it straight from the bottle always ends up being more than you want.
