Tender green beans blended with garlic and almonds for a vibrant, crisp side.

# What You'll Need:

→ Vegetables

01 - 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed

→ Aromatics

02 - 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

→ Nuts

03 - 1/4 cup sliced almonds

→ Oils & Fats

04 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

→ Seasonings

05 - 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, or to taste
06 - 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
07 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)

# How To Make It:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add green beans and blanch for 2–3 minutes until bright green and just tender. Drain and immediately transfer to ice water to halt cooking. Drain thoroughly and set aside.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, toast sliced almonds, stirring frequently, until golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
03 - Add olive oil and sliced garlic to the same skillet. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
04 - Add blanched green beans to the skillet. Sauté, stirring often, for 3–4 minutes until heated through and crisp-tender.
05 - Season with sea salt, black pepper, and lemon juice if using. Toss to combine.
