08 - 8 slices brioche or challah bread, about 3/4 inch thick

10 - 1 1/2 cups mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
11 - 1/2 cup pure maple syrup (120 ml)

# How To Make It:

01 - In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, whole milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well blended.

03 - Dip each slice of bread into the custard mixture, soaking for 10 to 15 seconds per side, then allow excess custard to drip off.
04 - Place soaked bread slices onto the skillet. Cook each side for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Repeat in batches, adding remaining butter as needed.
05 - Arrange the cooked slices on plates, top generously with fresh berries, drizzle with maple syrup, and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
